Governance
Our Structure
GOVERNANCE
The Ghana Hubs Network is built on a collaborative and accountable governance framework designed to represent members, ensure transparency, and drive impact.
Member Council – The highest decision-making body, made up of innovation hub founders who are paid members of GHN. The Council provides strategic direction and ensures the Network remains true to the needs of its members.
Board – Comprised of serving members from innovation hubs, the Board is elected every two years. It provides oversight, guidance, and accountability, ensuring that decisions from the Council are translated into effective governance.
Secretariat – Operating independently of the Board, the Secretariat is responsible for day-to-day management and implementation of all agreed programs, activities, and initiatives. With oversight from the Board, the Secretariat ensures that GHN delivers on its mission and creates lasting value for members and stakeholders.
This three-tier structure ensures that GHN remains member-driven, well-governed, and operationally effective balancing representation, accountability, and execution.
